Copycat Lotus Biscoff Caramelized Biscuit Sauce
A copycat recipe for Llaollao's famous caramelized biscuit sauce, excellent for drizzling on ice cream and other desserts.

- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¼ cup brown or red sugar packed
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 2 tablespoons full cream milk OR whipping cream
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 tablespoons Biscoff spread
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
In a small, microwave-safe bowl, add the butter. Transfer to your microwave and heat on High until melted, about 30 seconds.
Add the brown sugar, syrup, milk or cream, and salt. Stir to combine.
Place the bowl in the microwave and heat on High for 1 minute. The mixture will be bubbling.
Stir in Biscoff Spread until completely incorporated and smooth. Stir in the vanilla essence.
The sauce will thicken a bit as it cools; if it’s too thick just add a bit more milk or cream.
