1. Sister’s Logitech for QuickCam Pro suddenly died this evening. Power surge on the USB hub or something. And only after half a month of use.
This sucks.
The nearest regional office is in Singapore. Hoping Cycom can assist in whatever needs to be done.
Somehow, situations like these where stuff just suddenly stop working for no reason make me feel a little over the top. Blame the product, or blame the person using it? Would it have happened if the user was more knowledgeable on computers? Maybe it was just fated to happen.
Things are supposed to be a lot easier for people nowadays. On the other hand, the tech degree holders suffer.
2. Actually, maybe I’m more stressed out about the above than usual cuz I just splurged 300 bucks on a spare duvet cover which didn’t hold up to my expectations. It’s sad to see Martex go towards the more ah-beng designs, leaving behind the comfort of the older designs.
Argh.
