final fantasy 7: dirge of cerberus is a third person shoot em up where you play vincent valentine in a story set 3 years after meteorfall in the original ff7.
i finished the game last night/this morning after 10 hours of gameplay. without cheating too (because it let me use my keyboard and mouse). however, i was expecting to finish earlier, because some point at the end.. what i thought was the end.. wasn’t. and that happened a few times over. for about 2 hours. so i ended up sleeping late and therefore zombified today.
in any case, there are TONS and TONS of cutscenes, and LOTS and LOTS dialogue. and the story has a romantic element… my kind of story. so it’s nice.. except for the constant loading in between scenes. i think it was done pretty well…
so in abt an hour i’ll be leaving for terengganu to see the monsoon cup, with my mom and uncle jimmy. valeria seems to have fallen ill, so we don’t know if she’ll make it. so khairil is forced to go. we should at least try to fill up the quota… cuz i’m sure we’ve troubled uncle jimmy enough.. and he was so eager that we’ll have italian guests coming along.. sigh.. i can just see the disappointment on his face.
