~meow~

Just watched Neko no Ongaeshi (The Cat Returns). kawaii neko ga takusan itan da! It’s a Ghibli production, so it’s obviously good. 😀

Went for another wedding today. Woke up just in time for the reception. Forgot to tell my mom about it though, so sorry mom!

Friday blues

Yoh~

On Thursday night, Merv, Vincent, his pal David, and I went to see the Italian Job right after work. It so happened that David had two extra seats, and Merv and I thought what the heck. And heck, it was soooo damned good. I’m just so in the mood for movies these days.

After dinner at Mid Valley, I took the opportunity to grab some pure Tea Tree oil for my nose. And just in time too cause it.. uh.. nevermind, you don’t want to know the details.

Last Friday was somehow very depressing. Probably because I couldn’t sneak out in the afternoon to jalan2 at the KL Motorshow. Sigh~ well, I’m sure we’ll see more. Somehow. 😛 Work itself sucked too, with a lot of things tai-chi’ed my way. Did a lot of driving too, for lunch and to pick up my bro from art class. At the end, I was too tired to suffer another traffic jam, so I did some extra work at the office till dinnertime with the guys.

After dinner (don’t ask why I skipped the bit about dinner :P) we went straight from KL town to Sri Hartamas for some MRC therapy, but there were no seats available, so we went home after a while. The StarCraft demo that was showing in the lounge wasn’t all that interesting anymore.

Managed to borrow a copy of the Finding Nemo DVD, and watched it with the family just a while ago. It was crispy clear, and the menu antics made me fall in love with the movie all over again. 🙂

Do I look good or what?

Decided to take the What Type Of Anime Character Are You? quiz:

Bishounen
You’re A Bishounen (Attractive Young Male)!
You hunk, you. All the girls want your body! You
have a cool car, and a way with words. You
know exactly how to get what you want.

Heh. Maybe if I got rid of this humongous zit on my nose first. Thought I’d be more of a Hentai Baka. 😀

Feelin’ kinda lazy today. More interested in starting a new layout for this site than whatever’s happening at the office. Sorry Hemlocke, Hentai Queen, ichaya, but I think I won’t be doing a Naruto layout after all. One of the reasons being no new chapters of Naruto since July. 🙁 Think I’ll go with Onegai Teacher instead. Heahaha~

At the moment, I’m trying to get some of my mp3s from home to my office PC. Since the Project Management Office (PMO) has yet to provide its members with a thumbdrive, I’ve been doing some funky firewall-poking. Take a look :-

  • Tunnel a hole through the HTTP proxy server using SSH to the SSH server at home which listens on port 443 (The HTTPS port).
  • Transfer files back from home via SFTP over SSH. 😛

I hope none of the sysadmins find out. But I’ve been doing this since I joined the company, so… muhuha.

Akan ku nyanyikan kau lagu cinta~

Wowwie what a busy day. It’s 2:30am and I just finished up with Onegai Sensei; my rating: 10 out of 10! It’s just one of those touching stories~ Well, initially I thought it’d be very ecchi-like, and it is a lil’, but the storyline comes out top notch and towards the end you don’t really care about the fan service.

Wonderin’ how I’m going to survive work tomorrow.

Before that, went to watch The Medallion with Shervonne, Choy Hoon, and Is. Since I was stuck in a jam and almost missed the movie, I had dinner at Nando’s at about 9pm. The girls didn’t mind waiting for me, and managed to fit in some shopping time while I withdrew cash from the ATM. Even saw one of our consultants walking about. Oh, this all took place in Mid Valley.

Just noticed how limited my vocab is at the moment. It’s just that I only keep hearing two words in me head.. Sensei… Kei-kun… Sensei… Kei-kun… @_@

And even before that, I had to rush to pick up my mom from work, and back to Section 13 to pick up the Waja from the service center. Also had a super argument with the foremen, because they replaced our spark plugs and charged us for them even though they replaced them just recently due to the Netstar alarm crap. Grrr.. they have a multi-million dollar computer system (SAP) and yet they can’t keep track of their customer’s history without us telling them about it. Damn, I sound like my HR GM. Well, my mom did all the arguing, since she was more adept at drilling arguments into people’s seemingly empty brains. I played a supportive role. 😛

In the end, one of the foremen conceded and decided to pay for the spark plugs himself. Whatever, as long as it’s not us.

Current song playing in head besides Onegai Sensei songs:-
Flop Poppy – Cinta

そのあとで...

Forgetting everything before ID46, I’ll just skip the history and move on to the oddities after.

Didn’t go anywhere on Merdeka night. Thought I’d be able to glimpse the fireworks surrounding KL tower from my balcony like last year. But it was rather misty having rained earlier in the day, so I had to be contented with the chapalang display from Phileo D.

Slept till noon the next morning. Ayin needed a floppy drive for her Vaio, so we decided to head for Low Yat after dropping our mom off at Jalan TAR for more fabric shopping (that’s twice in a weekend!). Taking the most direct yet most jam-packed route via Tun Perak, we arrived almost an hour later. Looks like lotsa people were still in town after all…

Sg. Wang’s parking lots were full, so we ended up in Yayasan Selangor instead. At that point, paying RM5 per entry was no big deal. Decided to go to Sg. Wang first for lunch, and it was packed inside as it was outside. And there was some sort of Chinese singing competition too. Didn’t feel hungry having only had breakfast before we departed, so I just left Ayin and Khairil (me lil bro) at McDonalds while I queued up for 20 odd minutes at the ATM. Then we made a quick stop at the regular PS2 shop and quickly headed down to Low Yat.

Low Yat Plaza was also brimming with people, but it wasn’t as bad as the previous building. Palm was having some sorta thing going on at the lobby, and there were people wearing orange caps everywhere. There were some games with Palm prizes to be won, but being in a rush my thinking brain stopped me from getting an orange cap myself. Oh well, another opportunity missed.

We quickly browsed for a phone for Khairil, and got him a Motorola E360 for 400. Then we rushed on to the next floor to acquire a Sony USB floppy drive for 145. All paid in cash. :O Oh, and Ayin owes me 50 bucks now.

So then we rushed back to Masjid India, grabbed my mom who still wasn’t done shopping, and I got home just in time to meet up with the gang to go to Juan’s wedding. The wedding itself was cool, and a lot of faces haven’t seen in a while showed up. Will put up the poorly-taken pics after this. 😛

The wedding ended about 11-ish, but the gang decided to adjourn to Cristro’s in Sri Hartamas. Besides the usual chatter and laughs, lotsa attention were paid to the Arsenal-Man City game on the big tele. Gotta hand it to the Arsenal folks for making our day *lol*.

Came home about 2:30am. Was supposed to drive down to Batu Pahat today, but I was too stoned. Sorry, mom. So I cuci 2 bathrooms instead. And now I’m watching Onegai Sensei Ep 1. 😛
